We took away such great memories from our first trip to Coonawarra and a big part of that was our winery tour with Coonawarra Experiences. Simon is as good as it gets. Far more than just the designated driver, it's his passion and knowledge for the region and its wines that makes it such an extraordinary day. Simon designed our afternoon based on our interests but threw in some lovely little surprises and experiences. It's not about getting through as many wineries as possible with Simon, it's about spending some real quality time and taking in the uniqueness of each winery. In end it just felt like just getting about with a really good friend and having a great time. Everyone should visit the Coonawarra. Upon arrival at your accommodation at Must@Coonawarra, you will be welcomed with a bottle of our famous Coonawarra wine, paired with delicious Cuvée chocolates.
After a wonderful night’s rest, we’ll set off on your full-day wine tour with your experienced hosts at Coonawarra Experiences. Enjoy intimate private tastings with the winemakers of the “Terra Rossa Strip”, and indulge in a stunning seasonal gourmet produce platter with wine at Patrick of Coonawarra.
When back on tour, we’ll provide a history of Coonawarra and introduce you to many of the characters who have made our South Australian wine region so famous.
Our Coonawarra Unearthed tour is a full-day experience that allows you to meet the winemakers of Coonawarra’s famous Terra Rossa strip, and enjoy intimate private tasting sessions with your hosts. We'll have a delicious lunch in town and take in a spot of local sightseeing along the way.
We work closely with our friends at Coonawarra's cellar doors to provide you with a unique hosted experience that you couldn't recreate on your own.
