We had the pleasure of hosting a fun couple from Auckland, New Zealand, during their recent short trip to Australia.
We were chuffed to hear that they chose to include a trip to Coonawarra to sample some of our regions famous Cabernet Sauvignon as part of a trip along the Great Ocean Road.
It was their first time venturing outside of the capital cities and experiencing regional Australia. It means a great deal to the family-owned businesses, winemakers, and local communities that make destinations like Coonawarra and the Limestone Coast so memorable.
We hope they enjoyed the small gesture of thanks from the Coonawarra Vignerons and Coonawarra Experiences, and that the memories of their time here stay with them long after they’ve returned home.
Hopefully, one day we`ll have the opportunity to welcome them back to Coonawarra and the Limestone Coast.

After all the hustle and bustle of ATE26, it was great to slow things down for a little while and enjoy some quality time with Lisa from @boomerangescapes here in our region.
A casual lunch, a few Cabernets, plenty of laughs, and a chance to simply enjoy good company and good conversation.
One of the best parts of this industry is the friendships that grow over the years, and it’s always special being able to share our little corner of the world with people who genuinely love what we do.
Sometimes the best moments happen well away from the trade floor.

What an incredible week representing the Limestone Coast at ATE2026 in Adelaide.
Over four days we met with buyers from around the world who are actively searching for authentic Australian experiences, and they were genuinely blown away by the diversity, quality, and uniqueness of what our region has to offer. From world class food and wine to caves, coastline, wildlife, Indigenous experiences, and luxury off grid escapes, the interest in the Limestone Coast was incredibly encouraging.
Huge congratulations to the South Australian Tourism Commission for the enormous effort behind delivering such a world class event. The organisation, energy, and opportunity created for operators across South Australia was outstanding.
It was also fantastic to see Warrawindi Escapes become only the second business from our region to attend ATE. David and Alison Galpin have created something truly special, and the response from international agents was overwhelmingly positive.
The momentum and interest in the Limestone Coast is building, and we’re excited for what lies ahead.
Roll on ATE2027 in Sydney.
