What a setting for a day of filming with Ron Kandelaars from @7newsadelaide.
Ron was in the Limestone Coast recently, meeting some familiar local faces and capturing the stories, places and people that make our region so special.
We had the pleasure of taking him behind the gates of Yallum Park, the remarkable historic mansion built for Coonawarra founder John Riddoch in 1880. More recently, this incredible property provided a stunning backdrop for the new @netflixanz series My Brilliant Career.
Yallum Park is not widely open to the public, which makes our close relationship with the property especially meaningful. It allows us to arrange private tours for our guests and share its architecture, gardens and history in a genuinely personal way.
A private visit to Yallum Park can also form part of a handcrafted day exploring the wider John Riddoch story and the character of Coonawarra. For Ron, that story continued at Wynns Coonawarra, where we even climbed into a soil profile pit to talk about the famous Terra Rossa soil beneath the vines.
For our guests, we can build a private day around Yallum Park and combine it with premium wine experiences, local dining and other hidden treasures across the Limestone Coast.
