The part of South Australia most travellers miss.
Many people treat the Limestone Coast as a stop between Melbourne and Adelaide. We think that’s a mistake.
At Coonawarra Experiences, we’ll show you why the Limestone Coast is a place to stay 2 to 3 days, not just pass through.
Private tours built around you, seasonal dining in settings you’d never find on your own, an introduction to the people who make this region worth the detour, natural wonders, indigenous experiences, agritourism adventures, and so much more.
Come for the wine. Stay for everything else. Everything’s handled, so you relax and enjoy. 🍷

A few of our favourite places, all in one day. 🍷
We recently hosted agents from Abercrombie & Kent Australia and gave them a taste of what makes Coonawarra and the Limestone Coast such a special place to explore.
From the stunning Yallum Park Mansion, featured in the new Netflix series My Brilliant Career, to iconic Coonawarra wines at Wynns, a visit to a local family-owned olive grove, and some fantastic local produce and dining along the way.
And naturally, we had to finish with a photo under the iconic Coonawarra railway sign!
It’s always great fun sharing the people, produce, stories and hidden gems of our backyard with others.
Thanks to A&K Australia for spending the day with us.

Coonawarra’s history runs deep.
Inside Eric’s Cellar at Brands Laira, rows of dust-covered bottles and personal mementoes offer a glimpse into the people and stories that helped shape the region. There is far more to Coonawarra than the wine in your glass.
