From Wine Country... and Beyond
When we started Coonawarra Experiences, it was all about the wine. That was the plan, anyway but our guests kept surprising us. They`d come for a tasting and leave talking about the caves, the coast, a farmer they`d met, a story they hadn`t expected. Over time, we realised the wine was the beginning, not the whole story.
This region has always been more than Coonawarra. We just needed our guests to remind us.
So our tagline has quietly shifted to something that feels a little closer to what we actually do each day: "Unearthing South Australia`s Captivating Limestone Coast."
The logo stays. The foundations stay. The limestone, the soil, the vineyards, they`re still at the heart of everything.
We`ve just given ourselves permission to go a little further.

A tribute to the vineyards, winemakers and producers who inspired the beginnings of Coonawarra Experiences and continue to shape our story today.
Terra Rossa Soil
World-famous for a reason, this distinctive red soil has helped produce some of Australia`s finest Cabernet Sauvignon and put Coonawarra on the global wine map.
Limestone
The ancient limestone layer that gives the Limestone Coast its name and contributes to the region`s unique landscape and character.
Aquifers
Hidden underground, these precious water systems sustain our vineyards, farms and communities.
