If you would prefer the freedom to explore without the structure of a guided tour but still want the ease of having a dedicated driver, our private chauffeured hire is the perfect solution.

Coonawarra Experiences now offers half day and full day chauffeured vehicle hire, giving you the flexibility to immerse yourself in the region at your own pace. Choose from our premium fleet:

  • Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series – Ideal for up to four guests travelling in comfort and luxury

  • Renault Master Bus – Perfect for groups of up to ten guests (Book the Renault option via this link: Renault Bus)

With our experienced driver behind the wheel, you can sit back, sip, and enjoy the stunning landscapes of Coonawarra. Complimentary bottled water is provided on board, and we are happy to share stories and insights into the region’s rich history along the way.

Want a memorable group photo? Just ask – we are happy to include a stop at the iconic Coonawarra Railway Siding.

Please note: Meals and tasting fees are not included in the hire price. However, we can tailor your experience to include a gourmet lunch or afternoon tea – simply let us know when booking.

Fantastic Coonawarra Experience
This was one of our best wine tours we have ever done and my hubby and I do a wine trip every year. Simon and Kerry went above and beyond to ensure we saw and tasted everything we wanted to and ate the best of the produce available in the area. The food and wine in the Coonawarra is outstanding. We met many of the local characters from Coonawarra which certainly enriched our experience. The accommodation was five star, with everything you need to feel at home and comfortable. We had such a great time we will be going again next year with friends. Thanks Kerry and Simon, we look forward to seeing you again.

Tour Details

Our Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series private hire allows your group to travel in luxury and simply enjoy a great day out in the region. We'll supply the driver, bottled water, and a running commentary during the day. You'll need to take care of any bookings at cellar doors and dining options.

Food & Drinks

You are free to book your dining at any time throughout the day hire. Please keep in mind that most eateries require group bookings in advance to avoid disappointment on the day. 

Coonawarra Experiences will not book any dining and this is not included in the hire fee.
