The following day, enjoy exclusive private access to one of our tour vehicles as you are hosted on a full-day Coonawarra wine tour. A highlight of your journey will be a seasonal set-menu lunch at Ottelia, crafted with fresh local produce and perfectly paired with estate-grown wines.

We stayed in Mt Gambier, which is about a 30-45 minute drive from Coonawarra, but Simon was still able to pick us up, in a new, very comfortable car which made the journey that much more enjoyable. His knowledge of and passion for the area was evident, and he is clearly a well known and well respected local. The wineries were thoughtfully selected according to our individual wine preferences, and each cellar door was expecting us and welcomed us warmly as we entered. Simon had arranged a delicious platter for lunch at Brand's and a sit down with the winemakers at Raidis, whose company we enjoyed so much we kept Simon for an extra hour! Would highly recommend Coonawarra Experiences for your next trip to the region - I know we'll be back!
