An amazing time with Coonawarra Experiences!
Simon and Kerry have an infinite knowledge of the Cabernet Central Coonawarra region, their passion, pride and relationship with the locals and their guests is fantastic. With a bottle of Cabernet awaiting upon arrival! Both Simon and Kerry make you feel very welcome. The accommodation is very comforting, lovely, clean and nothing is too much trouble. A tour with Simon (Coonawarra Experiences) is informative, relaxing and lots of fun! As first time visitors, we will definitely be back again.
Coonawarra Experiences
We had an amazing few days in the Coonawarra with Simon and Kerry. They were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. They have such great knowledge of the area and the wines, we learnt a lot from them and discovered some fantastic new wines. The accommodation was lovely and homely and the heated floor in the bathroom was a bonus! If you're looking for a care free getaway and some great wines as well as local business supporting each other (was fantastic to see this in action) we would highly recommend Coonawarra Experiences, we will definitely be back soon!!
Absolutely amazing - the perfect experience
Fantastic customer service from Simon and Kerry during our recent trip to Coonawarra. The tour was fantastic, and the organisation of a special 5 star dinner prepared by Chef Kirby in our accommodation was absolutely delicious and a sensational birthday surprise. Simon went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable.This all made for great experience and a perfect break for the two of us. Our friends were envious and are keen to find out for themselves. We look forward to coming back next year and utilising your services once more.
A must do!
From the moment we booked, Simon made the experience one to remember. We went to a number of wineries, both large and a few smaller, more boutique- all produced great wines! Lunch at fodder was delicious too! The day ran so smoothly, we got to just sit back, relax and enjoy. We've been raving about the day since we left and we'll definitely be back, bringing more people with us! Thanks again Simon!
An absolute must for your trip to Coonawarra!
We stayed in Mt Gambier, which is about a 30-45 minute drive from Coonawarra, but Simon was still able to pick us up, in a new, very comfortable car which made the journey that much more enjoyable. His knowledge of and passion for the area was evident, and he is clearly a well known and well respected local. The wineries were thoughtfully selected according to our individual wine preferences, and each cellar door was expecting us and welcomed us warmly as we entered. Simon had arranged a delicious platter for lunch at Brand's and a sit down with the winemakers at Raidis, whose company we enjoyed so much we kept Simon for an extra hour! Would highly recommend Coonawarra Experiences for your next trip to the region - I know we'll be back!
VIP Coonawarra Winery Tour
WOW!!!!!!! If you want to experience the best of Coonawarra then Simon and Kerry from Coonawarra Experiences is the only way to go. From the moment they picked up the phone to take our booking nothing was too much trouble. From the luxurious chauffeur driven tour vehicle, incredible platter in the authentic Eric’s Bar this tour delivered a true, personal tour of the Coonawarra Wineries. If you tour this region these guys really know how to ensure you have a memorable day. Can’t wait to come back again. Keep up the great work guys and thanks again for your wonderful hospitality.
VIP Coonawarra Winery Tour
We took the afternoon tour of the cellar doors plus with "Coonawarra experience" in April 2018. The experience was magnificent. Simon, our guide, was knowledgeable and passionate about the region. From the beginning, he asked about our taste of wines so he could plan our itinerary to match our palate. The tour was executed brilliantly. Simon was not pushy or annoying, as I have experienced in other tours... on the contrary, he was graceful and helpful. I could not recommend this experience more.
More than just a wine tour, a great Coonawarra experience.
We took away such great memories from our first trip to Coonawarra and a big part of that was our winery tour with Coonawarra Experiences. Simon is as good as it gets. Far more than just the designated driver, it's his passion and knowledge for the region and its wines that makes it such an extraordinary day. Simon designed our afternoon based on our interests but threw in some lovely little surprises and experiences. It's not about getting through as many wineries as possible with Simon, it's about spending some real quality time and taking in the uniqueness of each winery. In end it just felt like just getting about with a really good friend and having a great time. Everyone should visit the Coonawarra.
