Coonawarra Running Festival and Wobbly Winery Walk

The Coonawarra Running Festival is back on Saturday 7 November, with runners, walkers and wobblers heading out along the rail trail through the vineyards and red gum country of Coonawarra. Funds raised support mental health across the Limestone Coast.

There is a distance for everyone. The half marathon starts at 8:30am, followed by the 12.6km run at 9:30am, the 6.3km runs at 10:30am and the 1km kids’ run at 11:30am.

For something a little more relaxed, the Wobbly Winery Walk sets off at 10:00am. It is a non timed walk that takes in six wineries along the trail, collecting a glass at the start. Walkers must be 18 or over.

Everything starts and finishes at Coonawarra Memorial Park, where there is live music, local food and market stalls to enjoy once you cross the line.

Entries range from $5 for the 1km run up to $80 for a late half marathon entry. Prices go up closer to the day, so it pays to enter early through the festival website.
