We first discovered the Limestone Coast as visitors, lured in by its stunning natural beauty and irresistible charm, but before long, our weekend getaways from Melbourne turned into something much bigger. We left behind corporate jobs, packed up our lives, and traded city chaos for small-town serenity—and we’ve never looked back.
This region will surprise and delight, whether you’re compelled by the rich history, natural beauty, Indigenous culture or its small-town feel. Coonawarra Experiences originated as wine and gastronomy tours of this region’s many internationally renowned cellar doors. Leveraging the longstanding local relationships we’d formed during our holidays here, we began offering one-of-a-kind tours and behind-the-scenes access in 2017. Over time, our knowledge and network has grown exponentially. From up-close kangaroo encounters at a private wildlife refuge to trying iconic wines from the barrel at historic cellars, our deep local network assures every guest of a premium experience.
