Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a famil through the Limestone Coast with product managers from 🇮🇹 Italy and 🇫🇷 France, on behalf of the South Australian Tourism Commission. This visit was part of the promotion for Emirates` new direct route to Adelaide, making South Australia more accessible than ever for European travellers.
Despite soaring temperatures, reaching up to 40 degrees on one day, we curated an unforgettable itinerary showcasing some of the region’s best experiences. From enjoying "quiet time" during our Indigenous foraging to 4x4 adventures taking in breathtaking coastal landscapes, and of course, up-close encounters with our cute and cuddly kangaroos, our guests gained a deep appreciation of what makes the Limestone Coast so special.
We packed a huge amount into such a short time, and we must thank the SATC team and all the passionate local operators who helped bring this experience to life. With Emirates’ daily direct flights from Dubai to Adelaide, we’re excited to welcome even more international visitors and share our region`s beauty, history, and hospitality with the world.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting UK journalist Monica Charsley in our region on behalf of the South Australian Tourism Commission.
Monica embarked on a road trip through the Limestone Coast, experiencing the best of what our region has to offer staying in Mount Gambier and Penola. She joined our Caves, Cabernet & Kangaroos day tour, immersing herself in breathtaking natural wonders, indulging in fresh seasonal produce, savouring iconic Coonawarra wines, and meeting some adorable kangaroos along the way.

Hosting international guests is always a pleasure, and our recent visitors from Italy had an unforgettable introduction to the Limestone Coast. Their day at Warrawindi Escapes in Penola—a family-run property with five generations of farming history—was nothing short of extraordinary.
Embracing sustainable farming, Warrawindi Escapes has reimagined how they work the land, opening their doors to share their journey with visitors. Our hosts brought the experience to life, sharing their deep knowledge and passion while our guests immersed themselves in hands-on moments. From their first homemade sausage roll to an up-close shearing demonstration, every experience was a delight. A beautifully prepared local produce lunch in a relaxed, authentic setting was the perfect way to reflect on the day.
