Yesterday was a fantastic day welcoming guests from the visiting cruise ship Seabourn Sojourn to Robe on South Australia’s Limestone Coast.
With beautiful weather setting the scene, it was especially exciting as this was the first cruise ship able to successfully tender passengers ashore in Robe for many years.
Kerry hosted a small group exploring the UNESCO World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves before continuing to Brand`s Laira Coonawarra and Leconfield Coonawarra for hosted wine experiences.
Meanwhile, Simon hosted a second group to Coonawarra for a private tasting and long lunch at the always amazing Raidis Estate, featuring a wonderful menu from Gather on Gordon.
Our local partners were incredible in providing exceptional service.
Two different experiences, both showcasing the best of the Limestone Coast.

A true highlight was an exclusive icon wine tasting at @wynnscoonawarra inside the stunning Gables cellar door. History, prestige and world-class Cabernet all in one unforgettable setting.

From Ireland to the heart of Coonawarra
We had the absolute pleasure of hosting three legends from the Emerald Isle for a day of tasting world class Cabernet.
From relaxed tastings at our beautiful cellar doors to a classic photo stop at the iconic Coonawarra Railway Siding, the laughter was flowing just as freely as the wine. There is something pretty special about meeting people from around the world and seeing them enjoy our stunning region.
Not too much sunshine but plenty of stories with the Terra Rossa soil beneath our feet and a few Irish cheers along the way, made for great craic. That`s what regional touring is all about.
Thank you for bringing the energy, the banter and the big smiles. Sláinte to great wine, great company and unforgettable days on the Limestone Coast.

It’s taken us a while to realise it’s okay to acknowledge when you’ve done a good job.
Last week, we hosted a lovely couple from Germany on their first trip to Australia. We thought they’d enjoyed their stay and their tour around the region, but finding their message in our guestbook confirmed it.
