Itinerary Overview

Day 1 – Welcome to Warrawindi Escapes

Your journey begins with a warm welcome from the Galpin family, fifth-generation custodians of this 3,000-acre property near Penola. Step into your retreat to find a bottle of Raidis Estate Coonawarra wine and handcrafted Cuvee chocolate waiting for you. Unwind as the sun sets, and enjoy a freshly prepared roast lamb or beef dinner delivered hot to your door.

Day 2 – A Day on the Farm

Wake to the chorus of kookaburras, blue wrens, and the call of rare red-tailed black cockatoos before heading out on a private 3-hour farm tour. Learn about the Galpin family’s regenerative farming practices, spot brolgas dancing in the paddocks, and watch kangaroos and emus roam freely across the landscape. Pause for a traditional morning smoko on the family’s scenic observation deck, then enjoy your afternoon your way – soak in the spa, curl up with a book, or head out to explore the nearby Coonawarra wine region.

Day 3 – Limestone Coast Explorer Tour

Today, you'll join your hosts at Coonawarra Experiences for a full-day guided tour. Highlights include:
